Round log cabin, built in 1998 and renovated in 2023, features a living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and WC, and a wood-burning sauna. A grill hut serves as an outdoor cooking area, complemented by a gas grill on the terrace. The spacious, partly covered terrace includes an embedded hot tub, free for use between May and October. Note: Hot tub usage is included in the accommodation price during the summer season from April 28th to October 31st. Guests are responsible for filling, heating, and emptying the hot tub. In the sunny yard, you can play and have fun, lakeside sauna is a nice place to relax at the end of the day. There are good terrains for picking berries and mushroom. Also, good fishing waters nearby. The deepest point of Saimaa “Käenniemi well” is about 5 km away by boat. The Astuvansalmi rock paintings are about 9 km away by boat, by car distance is about 48 km. There is a boat ramp in the plot, the slope is steep and the best way to launch a boat, is to do it with a four-wheel drive car. You can rent electric outboard from the owner. Cabin Hevonkuusi is a spacious and bright architect-designed complex in a peaceful location. Great view of lake Saimaa from both main building and sauna. Local fishing licences included in the price. Fisheries management fee is required if you are 18-64 years of age and will be fishing with lures or traps (not required if you are ice fishing or fishing by hook and line). 45 km south-east of Mikkeli, L.Kukonjärvi 100 m (length 2 km, width 200 m), deep, soft mud bottom, own boat. Wooden hunting lodge 1987, renovated 2007, downstairs living room/ kitchen (70 m²!), kitchen, room with fireplace, washroom (3 showers), spacious dressing room and sauna section (electric stove). Upstairs bedroom 2 beds, bedroom 2+1 beds, upstairs hall 3 beds, other hall 4 beds. Terrace and 2 porches. Main building has 3 WCs. Lakeshore sauna (20 m²) with washroom. A steep slope from the cottage to the lake. Powerboating/jetskiing forbidden. Making an open fire is forbidden in the cottage. Bedlinen included in the price for week bookings. 23.5 km north of Kouvola, Lake Haukjärvi 10 m (length 1 km, width 0.35 km), hard, sandy bottom, deepening quite fast, pier and rowing boat. Wooden cottage, built in 1967, renovated in 2018, living room-kitchen foldable sofa bed for two, bedroom with two beds, second bedroom with two beds, dining area, toilet, washroom and sauna (electric stove). Air source heat pump, Wifi connection (8 MB). Outdoor toys, yard games, campfire site, electric smoker available upon prior request. In addition to the indoor toilet, there is an outdoor toilet, wood shed and warehouse. Wood-burning hot tub at extra fee; can be used starting from 1.5. (first of May) till 30.10. (end of October) every year. The hot tub cannot be used at other months. Warming and emptying of the hot tub by the client. Owner will fill hot tub before reservation and clean it after reservation. Afterwards reservation of the hot tube 140 e. Tähtiranta is beautifully renovated and redecorated old cottage. Comfortable cottage eg. for a family or for two couples.
