The neighboring Villa Järvelä offers the highly popular winter swimming, which you can enjoy in a cold water pool even in the middle of summer. Villa Järvelä is about 150 meters away. Drinking water comes from a private well that has been tested as potable. Occasionally, the water may have a slight taste, so we recommend bringing drinking water with you. It can also be purchased from a nearby market. The Järvelä wetland area is one of the best bird-watching spots in Southwest Finland and is only 1 km away. There are also nature trails and a bird-watching tower nearby. Lake Liitoinen is shallow and may have blue-green alga for about 2 weeks in midsummer.
